About Stream Alert

Stream Alert is a real-time alert platform that detects UPI donations from Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and other UPI apps and displays customizable on-screen alerts in OBS, Streamlabs, and StreamElements.

In practice that means you can stream on YouTube, Twitch, or Instagram and never glance at your phone to see who just tipped. The payment lands, the alert shows up on stream, and you keep playing. No checking notifications mid-game, no switching tabs to a dashboard.

It works with both personal and business UPI accounts (Google Pay Business, Paytm Business), and if you take real donation volume you will want a business account for the higher limits and the protection from bank freezes. Either way, we take no commission. Every rupee your viewers send is yours.

The goal has always been narrow on purpose: make it trivial for an Indian streamer to get paid the way India actually pays, and to feel that moment on stream. UPI is how money moves here, so the alerts are built around UPI first, not bolted on after.

Whether you have fifty viewers or fifty thousand, a tip should land on your stream the second it arrives, and all of it should be yours. That is the whole mission. We never wanted a bigger one.

For a long time, an Indian streamer who wanted to take donations over UPI simply had no way to put those donations on screen. Streamlabs and StreamElements were built around their own donation pages and international cards; UPI was not on their radar, so neither were the people using it.

Meanwhile YouTube Super Chat takes roughly 30% of every donation, and the Western tools do not speak UPI at all. So the day-to-day looked like this: a streamer half-watching their phone, missing tips, breaking the flow of the stream to check whether a payment came in.

I built Stream Alert to close exactly that gap. It watches for the UPI payment as it arrives and fires the alert on your stream right then. No missed donations, no glancing at your phone mid-game, and nobody taking a 30% cut on the way through.
