Thank you for choosing Stream Alert. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for our subscription-based streaming alert service. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
2. No Refund Policy
Important: All sales are final once the software has been used or accessed.
Due to the digital nature of our service, we maintain a strict no-refund policy under the following conditions:
- You have logged into your Stream Alert account after payment
- You have connected any streaming platform (Twitch, YouTube, Streamlabs, StreamElements, etc.)
- You have accessed any premium features or functionalities
- You have configured or customized any alerts or settings
- You have used the service to receive or process any alerts or donations
- Any data has been transmitted through our system on your behalf
Once any of the above actions have occurred, your subscription is considered "used" and is non-refundable.
3. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds may only be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same subscription
- Technical Inability to Access: If a critical technical issue on our end prevents you from accessing the service entirely, and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe
- Unauthorized Transactions: If you can demonstrate that a purchase was made without your authorization (subject to verification)
Even in these cases, refunds are granted at our sole discretion and require that you have not used the service as defined in Section 2.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Please note:
- Cancellation will stop future billing cycles
- You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds will be provided for unused time within a billing period
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any previous billing periods
5. Free Trial
If we offer a free trial period, we encourage you to fully evaluate the service during this time. By subscribing after the trial period ends, you acknowledge that you have tested the service and agree to our no-refund policy.
6. Chargebacks
We strongly discourage initiating chargebacks through your bank or credit card company without first contacting us. Filing a chargeback without attempting to resolve the issue with us directly may result in:
- Immediate termination of your account
- Loss of access to all data and configurations
- Being banned from creating future accounts
- Potential collection actions for the disputed amount
Please contact our support team first to resolve any billing concerns.
7. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund under the exceptional circumstances outlined in Section 3, please follow these steps:
- Contact our support team within 7 days of the original purchase
- Provide your account email address and transaction details
- Explain the reason for your refund request with supporting evidence
- Allow up to 7 business days for our team to review your request
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
8. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of our service at any time. Changes to the service do not constitute grounds for a refund, provided the core functionality of the alert service remains operational.
